Two fabric patches from Lower Hudson Valley Challenger Center in Airmont are aboard space shuttle Endeavour, which is docked to the International Space Station on its current mission, STS-127.
Sawyer Rosenstein, a 15-year flight director at the center, worked to get the patches on board. He worked with Larry Palant of Suffern, a former board member of the center, who has connections at NASA.
